About Naproxen Sodium
Naproxen Sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Naproxen and naproxen sodium are marketed under various trade names, including: Aleve, Anaprox, Antalgin, Feminax Ultra, Flanax, Inza, Midol Extended Relief, Nalgesin, Naposin, Naprelan, Naprogesic, Naprosyn, Narocin, Proxen, Synflex and Xenobid.
The product is soluble in water, dissolved in methanol, slightly soluble in ethanol, very slightly soluble in acetone. Almost insoluble in chloroform or toluene. Than curl take 0.5g of the product, add water, 6ml, dropping 1mol / L hydrochloric acid solution, 2.4ml, side dropping side shaking, precipitated, the washing of the precipitate with water to neutral, 105 ℃, dried to constant weight, accurately weighed, given , containing 10mg per 1ml of a solution of chloroform made.
